On the Road with Edvard Munch (Zoom)

Friday 30 May 7pm - 8.30pm

with Rick Moxon

Rick will describe how a deep encounter with Edvard Munch’s painting ‘the Scream’ in his late teens started off an inner journey with this Norwegian artist. Rick will share his research into Munch’s life and the influences and circumstances that led to the painting of “the Scream’, and put forward some ideas about why it is now one of the most recognizable paintings in the world. This exploration will also draw on the works of Rudolf Steiner, and particularly his research into the karma of several people in Munch’s circle of friends and acquaintances, which may provide deeper perspectives about Munch’s life and destiny.

Rick Moxon is a retired environmental scientist living in Hertfordshire.
