When did you last hear a poem spoken aloud — truly spoken, with the care and craft that makes language come alive? When did you last sit in a room where the spoken word was the event itself?

Word Art Café is a new initiative at Rudolf Steiner House, dedicated to the spoken word as a living art form.

Come for an hour of live performance and recitation by Sarah Kane, Geoff Norris, Christopher Marcus, Peter Oswald and others in a relaxed, informal setting on this first advent Sunday.

Open to all who love language and the spoken word and simply want to listen.

Mince pies and punch provided.

Cost £10/£5 at the door
