Parzival and Our Path to the Future (Zoom)
Friday 27 March 7pm - 8.30pm
with Douglas Miller
What choices do you have when the inherited political, economic and social structures are so degraded and entrenched that you feel unfree and unable to effect any real change in the world? Wolfram von Eschenbach’s epic poem Parzival points to a future that is in our hands. What path does it lay out for realizing a future that is both spiritually viable and in keeping with humanity’s capacity for freedom?
Douglas Miller is a retired professor of German at the University of Michigan–Flint in the United States; his research, publication, and lecturing has focused on Goethe’s accomplishments as a scientist and writer, as well as on the history and meaning of Rudolf Steiner and anthroposophy.
