The Quest for the Philosophers Stone (Zoom)

Friday 24 October 7pm - 8.30pm

with Howard Smith

Mention of the mythical ‘Philosopher’s Stone’ goes back at least as far as 300AD, but practical efforts to try and make it began in the Middle Ages. It was a stone yet not a stone, it is nowhere yet everywhere, a tincture, a means of making gold, of healing, of prolonging life. It also figures in Rosicrucian training. What is the truth of this mysterious ‘Stone’?

Howard is a life-long student of Anthroposophy and has a PhD in Chemistry and founded the Science Group of the ASGB. He believes that modern chemists are the alchemists of today.

All welcome, no need to book, no charge. Events are not recorded and zoom meetings are limited to 100 participants. Voluntary donations towards costs are gratefully received and can be made by cash donation on the day, transfer to a Nationwide account held for this purpose or via Paypal.
