Acapellies Community Choir
Led by Eleanor Holliday (Natural Voice Network), the Acapellies Community Choir has been singing together in Stroud, Gloucestershire for over 7 years. During that time, they have developed into a group who enjoy performing.
Their previous work, the Gratitude Project, created during the pandemic and rehearsed outdoors, was received with great acclaim in 2021. This was followed by Songs of Fortitude, which came to the Marylebone Theatre in autumn 2022, and now in Autumn 2023 they present their third choral work Sanctuary.
Eleanor Holliday is a performer, choir-leader, teacher, clown, composer and writer who lives in Stroud.
After many years in touring theatre, she now concentrates her energies on community singing projects and choral commissions.
She is currently developing ideas for a research project called Archaea at the Life Sciences department of the University of Bristol, looking at how music can interpret the origins of life.
