Becoming Human: Ten fingers and toes

Friday 31 March 7pm - 8.30pm

with Sophia Smith

Why do we count fingers and toes in newborns? Are feet our plug points to the Earth forces? Why are fingers and toes so special, so ‘us’? Why did Jesus Christ wash the feet of his disciples, and Mary Magdalene anoint his feet? Why are Buddha’s feet worshipped throughout Asia? This and much more will be explored in the last evening of the series of talks on numbers: is ten the number for completion or a new cycle for humanity?

Sophia is a practising therapist and healer, combining trace elements with reflexology and intuitive counselling, informed by anthroposophy. Originally trained in geology, in Brazil, she went on a quest to find how best to serve the world and she now helps with preconception preparation, pregnancy and attends births.
