While the first Goethanum (Dornach, Switzerland) was in the process of being constructed, the workers developed a keen interest in Rudolf Steiner’s work. Rudolf Steiner offered to answer their questions and whenever possible he arranged sometime in the midmorning to do so. These lectures are part of a series of 8 such books.

The style is accordingly a vivid oral one. The topics are concerning the transformation of substances; early earth conditions (Lemuria); the influence of sun and moon; the relationship of earth and human beings.
