Gesture into Speech Workshop - Breathe new life into a monologue
Saturday 29 October 7pm - 7.30pm
with Penelope Wildgoose
This is a practical day to explore ways to integrate intention, physical gesture and vocal quality when working with text. Starting from vocal release, breath, sound work and imagination, we will explore seven radically contrasting ways to approach a monologue, giving you clear creative choices and a greater freedom in your preparation for performance.
*Please bring a favourite monologue, preferably learnt by heart.
Penelope trained at Dartington College of Arts, The London School of Speech and Drama and the Bristol Old Vic’ Theatre School.
