The decent into hell - the events between the Crucifixion and Resurrection – remain
a mystery spoken of in the biblical text and portrayed in many artistic works. This day
celebrates the penetration of the Christ forces into the earth and into the past in
preparation for the Resurrection. During this talk Peter will explore the meaning of this profound and unique day of the Christian year.

Peter Van Breda is a priest of The Christian Community, a movement for religious
renewal.
