Intercultural Singing Workshop

The workshop will introduce people to 3 songs which Acapellies have sung over the yearsa British round, a Georgian or Balkan song and a recently composed song by Eleanor
Holliday, director of the choir. No experience is necessary, but you will need to have a
willingness to listen closely and to sing in a language other than English.

Eleanor Holliday is a performer, choir-leader, teacher, clown, composer and writer who lives in
Stroud. After many years in touring theatre, she now concentrates her energies on community
singing projects and choral commissions. She is currently developing ideas for how music can
interpret origins of life research for the University of Bristol Life Sciences department.
