Numbers in music, the cosmos and evolution (Zoom)
Friday 27 January 7pm - 8.30pm
with Eric Klein
For modern people numerology is a study of something living outside themselves. Numbers live in nature, astronomy, mathematics, science. Yet numbers remain a mystery as regards the cosmos and the evolution of humanity and its world. For the human being of the present age, the true nature of life is to be found in music, whose inner life is the spiritual reality in numbers. Great music carries a message from the spiritual world. Rudolf Steiner tells us that the future evolution of human beings is a musical one.
Eric Klein was born and raised in an anthroposophic home in New York, educated at the Rudolf Steiner School in New York City, before training as a concert musician at the Manhattan School of Music. His life’s journey has gone through Harvard Business School, the Christian Community Seminary in Stuttgart, Germany, before settling in England in 2002. He has worked as a performing musician, composer, conductor, teacher and lecturer.
