As Oxford Professor of Poetry, Alice Oswald was devoted to finding traces of the ancient, oral tradition within printed literature. Her husband Peter - best known as a playwright but also an acclaimed poet - is active in researching how ancient bardic performance styles can be reimagined for modern audiences. Together they will present an electric evening of spoken poetry from across the ages.
