Described by an audience member as ‘a hot-tub o f sound’, 35 singers will surround you for 40 minutes in b eautiful polyphonic songs from around the world.
The Georgian, Ukranian, American, Bulgarian, Corsican and British songs create a communal feeling of resilience and hope, supporting us during these complex times we live in.

Acapellies Choir is a community choir from Stroud, Gloucestershire, directed by Eleanor Holliday. They specialise in traditional unaccompanied polyphonic songs from around the world and have been singing together for over 6 years. Their previous work, the Gratitude Project, created during the pandemic and rehearsed outdoors, was received with great acclaim in 2021. They are now performing their new choral work - Songs of Fortitude.
