The Fate of the Children of Lir

The Fate of the Children of Lir is one of the most famous of all stories of the peoples of the Gael.
It is performed by members of the Pericles Theatre Company:
Producer and storyteller Paulamaria Blaxland-de Lange and puppeteers, supported by its director Vasile Nedelcu and joined by song composer and harpist Andrea (Harp), Ben Hess (Cello), Diane Howard (Voice) Sarah Kane (Speech) and Simon Blaxland-de Lange (Voice and Music).
Pericles Theatre Company was formed in 1999 to create inclusive and meaningful theatre and since its first millennium project, it has performed throughout the UK in small theatres, festivals, schools and Camphill communities, as well as at the Goetheanum, Switzerland, and for conferences. It has won accolades such as the best family show in the Brighton Fringe and is at present also touring with its latest family show: The Cat who taught the Seagull to fly.
