Does evolution only apply to earthly life? Does not the universe as a whole evolve? And is the spiritual world, which gives us our goals and aspirations, also a realm of change and development? The ninefold hierarchy of the cosmic spheres and of the angelic Intelligences which guide them is a wellestablished image in spiritual teachings, but Rudolf Steiner did something amazing when he made it the key to evolution. Many more questions arise - but there are also some very practical answers as to how we can become part of it, as we start on the way to angelhood.

Andrew has been an academic in the fields of English Literature and biblical interpretation and history. A lifelong Anthroposophist, he has written several books on Steiner’s philosophy, esotericism, and Christianity, and on the prophet Zarathustra.
