What is Nature? (Zoom)

Friday 7 July 7pm - 8.30pm

with Angus Jenkinson

Imagine a scientific team studying fish worldwide using a net with 3-inch gaps. After a decade of thorough study it would find no fish smaller than 3-inches. Similarly, there is a vast, sophisticated, and extremely useful version of Nature that has dominated the last few centuries. But it’s only a description of how it seems from one point-of-view. A view designed to leave out things. There is another view, indeed several others. So, what is Nature? Angus will show, the limits of the conventional view to help to open a path to Nature as Being. This is perfectly consistent with the ‘facts’ once you get over conventional blindness. Angus Jenkinson has been exploring the history of science for 5 decades and works as a scientific researcher and change or development designer in the field of social organization. He is a fellow of several professional bodies, an affiliated academic fellow, former professor, and an independent researcher at the Centre for Thinking Futures.

He is a long-term practising student of Steiner’s scientific disciplines for knowledge of self and world. He has authored 4 books including From Stress to Serenity, which is on self-development.
