Passiontide: a time for Discovering Our Selves
Friday 19 March 7.30pm - 9pm
with Peter Van Breda
Traditionally the weeks before Easter are a time for looking more deeply and intensively into our own biographies and a time for giving up something, maybe relinquishing a habit or giving up chocolates. From a more modern point of view we could put another emphasis on this time by considering taking on something that will bring help and healing to our troubled world and fellow human beings. This is of course the path that Christ took, and one that we can follow and identify with as he goes towards his passion and death.
Peter Van Breda lives in London and is a priest of The Christian Community, a movement for religious renewal.
