Rosicrucianism and Modern Initiation

Wednesday 1 February 4.15pm - 5.45pm

with Brendan McQuillan

In these six lectures (GA 233a) from Jan 1924, given just after the Christmas Foundation Meeting, Rudolf Steiner looks at the gradual transition in perception from around the ninth century, when many people were still able to experience spiritual beings atavistically, to our perception today which is devoid of the spirit. We learn of hidden mystery centres in the early middle ages; about symbolic revelations; of ‘the brotherhood of seven’; about knowledge of the heart; inner experience of the bones; writings in the astral light; evolutionmemory; and much else besides.
